Children’s Camp in Jitpurphedi
On 22nd January VIN successfully concluded children’s camp in Khadwalkot Primary school, Jitpurphedi. There was participation of 50 students from 11th January to 22nd January. The main focus of children’s camp was to utilize the free time during the winter vacation emphasizing the overall development of the children.
The children’s were involved in various activities such as hand washing, tooth brushing, arts and crafts, children’s song and dance, English and Korean language, origami, collage work, anchoring skill, group work, and environmental study. These activities contributed in the mental, social, physical and intellectual development. This camp was facilitated by VIN’s staff, two Korean volunteers and one local volunteer.
The parents were also invited and aware on the importance of children’s camp. One of the parents stated,” I sincerely praise the work of VIN to organize this camp, which has helped to utilize the leisure time of our children during winter vacation. This kind of camps has helped in the overall growth of our children. The children garlanded the national, international and VIN’s staff and appreciated their work.
