VIN is Working for Integrated Community Development Approach
VIN has prepared community plan in the 1st week of January for its integrated community development projects targeted for rural marginalized women, children, youth, and teachers including health program. The plan was prepared with the community representatives, e.g. community leaders, women, children, teachers, youth, health workers.
As the plan, we have also mobilized our local and international volunteers. Andrea, Leila, and Allison (Canada) actively took part for womens and children empowerment programs with us. They have worked taking baseline survey of the womens working status, trained women clubs for basic account keeping. Lucy (UK) has been working with us for two more months for women empowerment programs and VINs organizational development. We have also renovated and availed the basic facilities at Jitpur health post with the help of Lenka and Sabine. They worked closely with the local health post staffs and trained them for basic patient care.
We have just formed a youth clubs representing all Jitpur youths and Ian (UK) will be helping them for life skills, career development and English language development. If you wish to be part of our community development campaign, please contact us.
