Why choose this project?
In Nepal, maternal and child health remains a significant concern. Despite progress in recent years, the country still faces challenges in reducing maternal and child mortality rates. According to UNICEF statistics, Nepal has a maternal mortality rate of 151 per 100,000, and 28 out of 1000 children die before the age of five every year. There is an urgent need to address these issues through targeted interventions and access to quality healthcare services.
