The monastery is amazing! I will miss the open minded Lamas – ready to share their wisdom, the jolly students – always up for games, and all the genuine smiles I would get throughout a day. It’s fascinating to be a part of the buddhist monastery’s, and the young monk’s, everyday life, everything from the spiritual Pujas and chanting from the classroom to the reoccuring fights and exhausting games in the yard. Everything is not pure peaceful Buddhism, but boys will be boys. Thank you Drikung Kagyu Rinchen Ling Gomba!
